Timeline - Wars of Liberation, Campaign in Germany: 30 April 1813 – 31 October 1813

Begins with the signing of the Convention of Tauroggen by Yorck, commander of the Prussian Auxiliary Corps of the French in Russia (End of the Prussian alliance with the French) on 30 December 1812.

The French begin their campaign in Germany by crossing the Saale River into Saxony on 30 April 1813, Ends with the French withdrawal over the Rhine river to France.

An official Prussian Declaration of War to France was issued on 16 March 1813.

The armistice during this campaign lasted from 4 June 1813 to 16 August 1813.

Austria declares war to Napoleon on 12 August 1813.
