There are three letter connected. They are all addressed between Paul Myers and Wilder Penfield. The first is a typewritten letter from Penfield to Myers, declining an invitation to go to Washington due to Ruth Mary Penfield's ill health. This was from March 24, 1931. The second is a typewritten letter from Myers to Penfield, inviting him to stay with him in Washington, and for Penfield not to work so hard. Myers also relives some past memories with Penfield, including their recent trip to ski in Canada. The third letter is a handwritten draft telegram from Penfield to Myers declining their invitation because sadly Ruth Mary is too ill and not progressing fast enough to warrant travel.
