A black and white photograph of a large group of people in boats, waiting in a lock on the River Thames. The photograph was taken during a sculling (rowing) trip from Oxford to London which Dr. and Mrs. Penfield took with Dr. Gordon Holmes and Dr. Rosalie Jobson Holmes from May 14 to 16, 1921. This is the second photograph from page 43 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
