Letter from Wilder Penfield to Edward Archibald, November 10, 1927.
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Edward Archibald. In the letter Dr. Penfield tells Dr. Archibald that he has been told by Dr. Stanley Cobb that he is being considered to head a surgical unit at the Peter Bent Brigham Hospital in Boston, a position which would also come with a professorship in surgery at Harvard University. Dr. Penfield indicates that while his appointment in Montreal is imminent, he is attracted by the possible Boston offer. The letter is dated November 10, 1927.
