Letter from Wilder Penfield to Charles F. Martin, May 9, 1931.
Date:
1931-05-09
Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Dr. Wilder Penfield to Dr. Charles F. Martin, Dean of McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine. In the letter Dr. Penfield requests that the monkeys housed at the Royal Victoria Hospital’s Animal House receive additional care and be fed more often. Dr. Penfield is concerned that, because of their existing level of care, many of the monkeys were dying unnecessarily from tuberculosis. He suggests that the faculty hire another technician who could be fully dedicated to caring for the monkeys. This letter is dated May 9, 1931.
