This is a typewritten cover letter from Professor J. Simpson of McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine to Dr. Wilder Penfield. In the cover letter Dr. Simpson explains that the attached letter is a copy of a letter sent to Mr. A.P.S. Glassco, the Bursar of McGill University, in which Dr. Simpson outlines details of the budget of Dr. Penfield’s Department of Neuropathology and Neurosurgery. The letter is dated July 30, 1931.
