Letter from Wilder Penfield to Charles F. Martin, December 14, 1928.
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Charles F. Martin. In the letter Dr. Penfield thanks Dr. Martin for his efforts in locating the Laboratory of Neuro-Pathology’s lost specimens, adding that he believes that they had recovered most of them. He then updates Martin on the condition of Mrs. Ruth Inglis, Dr. Penfield’s sister, whom Dr. Penfield and Dr. William Cone had recently operated on for a brain tumour. Dr. Penfield also indicates that pathology results showed the tumour to have been an oligodendroglioma. The letter is dated December 14, 1928.
