Description:
This is the back of an unused postcard. The front of the postcard shows a photograph of a gargoyle from Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris that had been altered to have the gargoyle resemble General Von Moltke (Helmuth von Moltke), the Chief of the German General Staff at the beginning of the First World War. The labels on the back of the postcard are written in French.
