A black and white photograph of the MacQuarrie family’s house in Los Angeles, California. The house is thickly covered with vines and a person can be seen in one of the windows of the house. the father of the MacQuarrie family, Thomas William MacQuarrie, had once been a teacher at, and then the principal of, the Galahad School in Hudson Wisconsin. The school had been established in part by Jean Penfield in 1905, and Wilder Penfield was one of its earliest students. This is the second photograph on page 104 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
