Frederic Eberstadt and Two Children, photograph.
Date:
1926-07-24
Description:
A black and white photograph of three children. The oldest child is holding a baby who is identified by the caption as three-day-old Frederic. This is likely Frederick Eberstadt, the third child of Ferdinand A. Eberstadt, born in 1926. The photograph is dated July 24, 1926. The two older children are likely Frederick’s sisters, (right to left) Mary and Frances. Their father was Ferdinand A. Eberstadt, a lawyer, banker, and eventually a United States government advisor who was a member of Wilder Penfield’s 1913 graduating class at Princeton University. This is the fourth photograph on page 74 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
