Frances and Mary Eberstadt, photograph.
A black and white photograph of two children sitting on a large rock in a forest. The children are identified as Frances and Mary and the image is dated Christmas 1925. The children are likely Mary and Frances Eberstadt, the older daughters of Ferdinand A. Eberstadt, a lawyer, banker, and eventually a United States government advisor who was a member of Wilder Penfield’s 1913 graduating class at Princeton University. This is the fifth photograph on page 74 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
