Letter from Wilder Penfield to Robert Lambert, June 28, 1934.
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Robert A. Lambert of the Rockefeller Foundation. In the letter, Penfield outlines the uses and the needs of a continuation of the funds coming from the Rockefeller Foundation, and pleads that the funds not be cut off due to a delay in the construction of the Montreal Neurological Institute. He explains that the City of Montreal had assured McGill University that it would give three hundred thousand dollars towards construction of the institute, but that logistical issues in obtaining the municipal funds had resulted in a delay in construction.
