Letter from W.H. Kippen to Wilder Penfield, April 1945.
This is a typewritten letter from W.H. Kippen to Wilder Penfield. In the letter, Kippen encloses copies of letters exchanged between the Montreal Neurological Institute and the Head Quarters of the federal Department of National Defence. He then offers a brief overview of the content of the letters, including details of the per diem rate which the military was to be charged for the care of military personnel at the MNI, as well as the progress of construction of the institute’s new Military Annex. The letter appears not to have been dated by the sender, but a handwritten note at the top of the page indicates that it is from April 1945.
