Description:
Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Gordon Holmes. Penfield writes in regards to Holmes' agreement to give an address at the opening [of the Montreal Neurological Institute]. Penfield suggests he speaks on something "not strictly scientific." He says he hopes to publish the address in a volume that is meant to be a record of the opening. In this volume there will also be a collection of essays on the fourteen neurologists honored in the MNI reception room.
