Description:
Typewritten letter from Arthur Childe to Wilder Penfield. Childe reports he is in England now, and all the Officers have also arrived except for Lt. Cols. Russel, Dr. Cone, and Major Botterell who are in London. They are not is permanenet accomodations yet, but are being comfortable housed and "in the meantime we are all getting wonderfully healthy."

Letter is typed on "Department of National Defence (militia service
)" letterhead. In the top left corner is the Canadian Department of Defense coat of arms [1923 version], underneath which is typed "WHM".

At top right is typed: "IN REPLY PLEASE QUOTE NO. Personal".

Typed above letter date: "Thursley Camp, Surrey."

Int eh right margin, a bracket extended from the 5th line to the 8th of the second paragraph. Next to it is a handwritten note, "[?]? do you want it?"

Third line from bottom has the name "Hanson" crossed out with the handwritten notation "leave blank" next to it.
