This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Sir Edward Beatty. In the letter Dr. Penfield invites Sir Edward to a dinner honouring those Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI) staff that will be going overseas to serve at the No. 1 Neurological Hospital. He also updates Beatty with information regarding the MNI’s wartime operations and how the institute will be rotating staff between the No. 1 Neurological Hospital in England and the MNI, making “it possible for us to keep a supply of properly trained men coming along”. The letter is dated March 27, 1940.
