This is a typewritten letter from McGill University’s Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Frank Cyril James, to Wilder Penfield. In the letter, James states that the federal Minister of Pensions and National Health, Ian Mackenzie, had responded to Dr. Penfield's report. James enclosed Mackenzie's response, noting that he believed that Mackenzie had completely misunderstood the intention of the report. James asks that Penfield send all comments directly to him at the Chateau Laurier. This letter is dated January 6, 1943.
