Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Ross Millar, Director of Medical Services for the federal Department of Pensions and National Health. In the letter Dr. Penfield states that he has considered proposed alternatives for the wartime expansion expansion of the Montreal Neurological Institute. He claims that the most feasible proposal is for an expansion that would use the existing services at the Montreal Neurological Institute and which could be further expanded in the future for the rehabilitation of patients after the war. He offers estimates of the costs of such an expansion, as well as additional reasons for making such a recommendation. This letter is dated December 14, 1942.
