This is a typewritten letter from Ross Millar, Director of Medical Services for the federal Department of Pensions and National Health, to Wilder Penfield. In the letter Dr. Millar states that he will ensure that the Montreal Neurological Institute does not absorb the costs of the procedures performed at the MNI on behalf of the Canadian military. He also advocates for the use of prefabricated military huts on McGill University property as a temporary annex for war time measures. The letter is dated June 10, 1942.
