Letter from Ross Millar to Wilder Penfield, June 4, 1942.
This is a typewritten letter from Ross Millar, Director of Medical Services for the federal Department of Pensions and National Health, to Wilder Penfield. In this letter Dr. Millar states that he has reviewed the cases of the military patients treated at the Montreal Neurological Institute over the two preceding years. Based upon his “hasty review” of the cases, he offers alternatives to Dr. Penfield's proposal to build an annex next to the Montreal Neurological Institute, including having patients be treated at the existing military hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The letter is dated June 4, 1942.
