The following letters which passed between M^r Connolly (the gent who was, on behalf of the NW. Co., at the head of the departm^t in w^ch the catastrophe occurred) & M^r Williams will close this narrative. They are both dated "Cumberl^d Ho." w^ch arises from the circumst^ce that of N W Co & the H B Co both have establishm^ts close to each other to which each have given the same name[.]
