Mr F. was a native of York in England & was in his [space] year at the time of his death[.]

The following letters which passed between Mr Connolly (the gent who was, on behalf of the NW. Co., at the head of the departmt in wch the catastrophe occurred) & Mr Williams will close this narrative. They are both dated "Cumberld Ho." wch arises from the circumstce that of N W Co & the H B Co both have establishmts close to each other to which each have given the same name[.]
