Description:
Both La sociale and La communarde have covers created from the same lithographic plate, although the musical content of the two pieces differs. La communarde was produced by Léon Hayard (1851–1903), a publisher known for printing a variety of revolutionary songs, including the socialist anthem L’internationale. After his death, Hayard’s widow inherited his business and published Marvie’s declamatory song La sociale.

Bien que les contenus soient différents, les pages couvertures de ces deux chansons ont été imprimées à partir de la même plaque lithographique. La communarde a été publiée par Léon Hayard (1851–1903), un éditeur connu pour avoir imprimé une diversité de chansons révolutionnaires, dont l’hymne socialiste L’internationale. Après la mort d’Hayard, sa veuve hérita de la maison d’édition. C’est elle qui publia La sociale, une chanson au style déclamatoire composée par A. H. Marvie.
