Letter from Alan Gregg to Wilder Penfield, September 18, 1933.
Three page typewritten from Alan Gregg of the Rockefeller Foundation (RF), to Wilder Penfield. In a previous letter Penfield expressed his wish to incorporate a symbol of the RF in acknowledgement of its' contribution, and invited a representative of the RF to the cornerstone ceremony. Gregg explains it is a policy of the Foundation to not allow such tributes nor attend ceremonies out of a "conviction that the credit belongs to the local people."
