Report of Interview of Drs. Martin and Penfield with Dr. Gregg at the Rockefeller Foundation.
This is a typewritten document entitled “REPORT OF INTERVIEW OF DRS. MARTIN AND PENFIELD WITH DR. GREGG AT THE ROCKEFELLER FOUNDATION, November 28th, 1931.” In this report, those involved, Charles F. Martin, Wilder Penfield and Alan Gregg, all discuss at length the cost and purpose of constructing a neurological institute in Montreal, as well as the likelihood that an application to the Rockefeller Foundation for a grant to assist in the construction of the institute would be successful. Significantly, Dr. Gregg advised Drs. Martin and Penfield that, given the impact of the economic depression upon the financial situation of the Rockefeller Foundation, they might wish to postpone presenting their application to the foundation. The report is dated November 28, 1931.
