This is a typewritten letter from Edward Archibald to Wilder Penfield dated March 8, 1928. In the letter Dr. Archibald requests that Dr. Penfield visit Montreal. Dr. Archibald claims that he not only has two private patients whom he would like Dr. Penfield to examine, but that he also wants to finalize some plans about Dr. Penfield’s move to Montreal before Dr. Penfield leaves on his research trip to Germany in March. In addition, Dr. Archibald informs Dr. Penfield that he had secured $5000 to be used freely by Dr. Penfield towards the outfitting and establishment of his neurology and neurosurgery work in Montreal.
