This is a typewritten letter from Sir Henry Dale of the Wellcome Trust to Wilder Penfield. In the letter Sir Henry confirms that he has received Dr. Penfield's letter about establishing a funded exchange program of British and North American neurologists, but that he can do no more until the trust’s Board of Trustees next meeting. He also thanks Dr. Penfield for his invitation to stay with the Penfields when he comes to Montreal, but he writes that because of his wife Nellie's poor eyesight, he wishes to stay in a hotel. The letter is dated August 23, 1959.
