Letter from Wilder Penfield to H. Rowan Gauthier Jr., February 5, 1959.

This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to H. Rowan Gaither. In the letter Dr. Penfield asks whether he and Dr. Rasmussen could re-apply for a Ford Foundation grant to support the Montreal Neurological Institute’s research. They had initially applied in 1955 but their application was not approved. In addition for asking for permission to reapply, Dr. Penfield dedicates much of the letter to outlining the important research such a grant would support. The letter is dated February 5, 1959.
