Description:
Typewritten letter from Bernard Berelson of The Ford Foundation, to Theodore Rasmussen of the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI). Berelson reports that the Ford Foundation will not be able to fund Rasmussen and Penfield's proposal. He advises, however, that an intermediary organization, supporting the field of mental health research, and funded by the Ford Foundation, is to be announced in the coming months. He believes this organization could meet some of Rasmussen's and Penfield's funding needs.
