Letter from Wilder Penfield to E.W. Beatty, July 4, 1934.
Typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to E.W. Beatty in which he informs Beatty of a visit from Dr. Lambert, a representative of the Rockefeller Foundation. The purpose of Lambert's visit was to discuss a gap of funding from June 1st 1933-August 1 1934 due to a misunderstanding between the Foundation and the University. Penfield, as advised by Lambert, requests that Beatty write a letter to Mr. Max Mason, President of the Rockefeller Foundation, formally notifying him of the completion and acceptance of the Institution laboratory by the University as of August 1, 1934, to clarify the situation.
