Letter from Chancellor Edward Beatty to Max Mason, July 24, 1934.
This is a typewritten letter from the Chancellor of McGill (Edward Wentworth Beatty) to Max Mason, President of the Rockefeller Foundation. In the letter Chancellor Beatty states that the construction of the Montreal Neurological Institute, towards which the Rockefeller Foundation had contributed one million dollars, was largely complete. He further states that laboratory equipment had been moved into the new building and that the institute would begin admitting patients in September 1934. The letter is dated July 24, 1934. It is attached to another letter from Chancellor Beatty to Dr. Penfield which is also dated July 24, 1934.
