Description:
This is a typewritten letter from Wilder Penfield to Louis J. Ehret. In the letter Dr. Penfield thanks Mr. Ehret for the contribution of his late sister, Madeleine Ehret Ottmann. Dr. Penfield explains that the money which Mrs. Ottmann left to the neurological and neurosurgical work at the Royal Victoria Hospital was being used to create a fellowship to fund epilepsy research. He finishes the letter by praising Mrs. Ottmann’s character. This letter is from August 22, 1930.
