Description:
Handwritten draft of a letter by Wilder Penfield to Madeleine Ottmann. He reports that William [Ottman's son] left his care last night in an improved condition and mental attitude. He writes of the enclosed professional charges and relays details of Williams' operation. He thanks her for her donation and and reports how her contribution and William's condition has set into motion plans to research epilepsy more intensely. Penfield writes that his dream would be to establish an Institute where epilepsy and other neurological conditions would be the central focus.
