This is a brief, eighteen-page booklet entitled “The Significance of the Montreal Neurological Institute.” A note on the booklet’s cover explains that it largely consists of material reprinted from a volume of addresses and biographies that was produced for the staff of the MNI in September 1934 to commemorate the opening of the institute. The booklet outlines the history of the creation of the MNI, details the architectural features of the building, describes the different departments of the institute and their functions, and suggests what future needs the MNI still has in order to guarantee that it can provide the best care to its patients.
