Description:
Typewritten newspaper article announcing the opening of an electorophysiology laboratory at the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI) aided by Montreal citizens. The article says that the laboratory, built by Sir Herbert Holt, J.W. McConnell, and G.H. Duggan, will officially be opened February 24, 1939. The article announces that there will not be a formal ceremony, but that the lab will be inspected by prominent researches in the discipline from the United States and Canada. The research to be carried out is being funded by a $50,000 endowment from the Rockefeller Foundation.
