This is a black and white photograph of the cornerstone laying ceremony at the Montreal Neurological Institute on October 6, 1933. In the photograph the Anglican Bishop of Montreal (John Farthing) and the Governor General (Vere Ponsonby, 9th Earl of Bessborough) can be seen overseeing the positioning of the cornerstone.
