Small brain icon, print.
This is a black and white image that appears at the front of many books on neurology or neurosurgery by Dr. Wilder Penfield and other authors from the Montreal Neurological Institute which were printed during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s. The image consists of a brain, as seen from the front, which is overlaid by a crossed hand drill and a hammer with triangular head, as well as a caduceus which appears vertical in the middle of the crossed drill and hammer.
