This is a handwritten note from Madeleine E. Ottmann to Wilder Penfield. In the note Mrs. Ottmann states that she will be sending more money beyond the ten thousand dollars she had initially promised to support Dr. Penfield’s research on epilepsy. She congratulates Dr. Penfield on the quality of his work and thanks him for saving her son, William. This note was written on March 31, 1930.
