This is a twenty three page, typewritten document written by Wilder Penfield, and titled "Neurology in the Scandinavian Countries" and "Impressions of Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Neurohistology in Central Europe". This is an unpublished report which Dr. Penfield agreed to make for the Rockefeller Foundation while he was in Europe during 1928. In the report he offers an overview of the techniques, approaches, and general state of neurology and neurosurgery in Europe at the time.
