This is an inverted black and white negative image of an unpaved road, surrounded by trees. There are two people who are clearly visible in the image, one man on a bicycle and one woman walking with a staff. The woman is approaching the camera while the man is cycling away. Two other people can be seen in the background cycling away from the camera. This image was likely taken during the Penfields’ 1928 European trip when they visited Breslau, Germany (modern Wrocław, Poland).
