Description:
A typewritten letter from C.F. Martin, Dean of McGill University’s Faculty of Medicine, to Dr. Wilder Penfield. The letter concerns the preparations being made in anticipation of Dr. Penfield’s and his colleague, Dr. William Cone’s, move to Montreal and appointment to the McGill’s Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Martin requests that Dr. Penfield send him detailed information about the type of equipment he will require when he arrives. He assures Dr. Penfield that there would be no obstacle in his acquiring the licences necessary to practice medicine in Quebec, and suggests several steps that Dr. Penfield could take to ease and expedite the licencing process. The letter is dated February 27, 1928.
