This album consists of six loose pages of photographs documenting individuals and scenes related to the S.S. Sussex, on which Wilder Penfield was a passenger, as well as Dr. Penfield's recovery from injuries sustained when the boat was torpedoed by a German U-Boat. The album’s images include pictures of the damaged ship and Penfield’s life at Dover Hospital following the attack.
