MacQuarrie House, photograph.
MacQuarrie House, photograph.
A sepia photograph of a house on a residential block. There appear to be awnings over the windows and landscaping around the house. This is identified as the MacQuarrie House. The father of the family, Thomas William MacQuarrie, had once been a teacher at, and then the principal of, the Galahad School in Hudson Wisconsin. The school had been established in part by Jean Penfield in 1905, and Wilder Penfield was one of its earliest students. This is the third image on page 105 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
