Description:
A black and white photograph of a group of people identified as the “Ingli + MacQuarries.” These are the children of the Inglis and McQuarrie families. The mother of the Inglis children was Ruth Inglis, Dr. Wilder Penfield’s older sister. Her husband was John Inglis, once a teacher at the Galahad School in Hudson, Wisconsin. The school had been started in part by Ruth and Wilder’s mother, Jean Penfield. One of the other teachers, and eventual headmaster at Galahad was a Thomas William MacQuarrie, and it is his children who are also featured in this photograph. This is the sixth photograph on page 101 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
