In the photograph they are sitting outside on a blanket and George Hall is holding a wooden toy boat. Their father, Dr. Francis Hall, Dr. Francis Hall, was a friend of Wilder Penfield’s from their time as undergraduates at Princeton University. The photograph is from page 71 of Wilder Penfield's 1919-1927 album.
