A black and white photograph of the Sheldonian Theatre at the University of Oxford. It is surrounded by a series of pillars toped by carved heads, or herms referred to as the “Emperors’ Heads,” that function as fence posts. This is the fourth postcard on page 44 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
