Boats in a Canal, photograph.
A black and white photograph of boats lining a tree-lined canal. There are people in the boats and the doors of a lock doors can be seen in the distance. The photograph was taken during a sculling (rowing) trip on the River Thames from Oxford to London which Dr. and Mrs. Penfield took with the Holmes from May 14 to 16, 1921. This is the fifth photograph from page 43 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
