A black and white photograph of Wilder Graves Penfield, Helen Kermott Penfield, Dr. (later Sir) Gordon Holmes and Dr. Rosalie Jobson Holmes (Mrs. Gordon Holmes). They are in a rowboat, with both of the Holmes rowing. The photograph was taken on the River Thames during a sculling (rowing) trip from Oxford to London which Dr. and Mrs. Penfield took with the Holmes from May 14 to 16, 1921. This is the sixth photograph from page 42 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
