Mrs. Wylie on a Porch, photograph.
Mrs. Wylie on a Porch, photograph.
A black and white photograph of a woman on a veranda, identified by the caption as Mrs. Wylie. She is wearing a white sun hat and a dress and appears to be reading a book. The Wylie Family was well known to Rhodes Scholars such as Wilder Penfield. Sir Francis James Wylie (presumably Mrs. Wylie’s husband) was Warden of the Rhodes House in Oxford and supervisor of the Rhodes Trust. This is the fourth photograph from page 32 of the 1919 - 1927 photo album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
