A black and white photograph of a man, identified as “Brand Blanchard” [Blanshard], the future American philosopher, who was studying at Merton College, Oxford at the time. In the photograph he appears to be standing in the stump of a tree. This is the fourth photograph from page 20 of the 1919-1927 album compiled by Wilder Penfield.
