Description:
Page 37 from the 1913-1916 photo album created by Wilder Penfield. Features 2 black and white photographs, both believed to be taken in the V.R. 76 military hospital in Ris-Orangis, France, while Penfield was there in late 1915. Both photos are of men who have sustained injuries to their limbs: the photo on the right and arm injury, and the photo on the left, a leg injury. Both patients have their injured limbs stabilized by suspension frames.
